The Pacific Ocean & Cobalt

The natural element for our Zealandia Honey® Cobalt Monofloral Mānuka honey containing 850mg/kg of Methylglyoxal MGO is the great pacific.

The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest of Earth's oceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south and is bounded by the continents of Asia and Australia in the west and the Americas in the east. Not only is it large, it's the great divide between us here in New Zealand and our customers, overseas. No matter how big the distance, we try and provide the ultimate experience to our customers when it comes to honey, wether it's taste or the experience you're after we will endeavour to satisfy.

The Mariana Trench or Marianas Trench of the Pacific Ocean is located in the western Pacific Ocean about 200 kilometres east of the Mariana Islands; it is the deepest oceanic trench on Earth. With the deepest part being the Challenger Deep.

A suitable combination of a natural element and a native element mineral for this pure honey from New Zealand with a profound Mānuka taste, this Zealandia Honey® won't disappoint.

The Sahara Desert & Gold

The natural element for our Zealandia Honey® Gold Monofloral Mānuka honey containing 550mg/kg of Methylglyoxal MGO is the largest subtropical desert in the world, the Sahara.

Covering a surface area of about 9.2 million square kilometers of our planet. The name 'Sahara' is derived from the Arabic word for "desert", ṣaḥra (صحرا /ˈsˤaħra/). For several hundred thousand years, the Sahara has alternated between desert and savanna grassland in a 20,000 year cycle caused by the precession of the Earth's axis as it rotates around the Sun, which changes the location of the North African Monsoon. The area is next expected to become green in about 15,000 years (17,000 CE).

The sky is usually clear above the desert, and the sunshine duration is extremely high everywhere in the Sahara. Most of the desert has more than 3,600 hours of bright sunshine per year, and a wide area in the eastern part has over 4,000 hours of bright sunshine per year.

The Sahara is mainly rocky hamada, stone plateaus; ergs, sand seas – large areas covered with sand dunes form only a minor part, but many of the sand dunes are over 180 metres high. Wind or rare rainfall shape the desert features: sand dunes, dune fields, sand seas, stone plateaus, gravel plains (reg), dry valleys (wadi), dry lakes (oued), and salt flats (shatt or chott). Unusual landforms include the Richat Structure in Mauritania.

Several deeply dissected mountains, many volcanic, rise from the desert, including the Aïr Mountains and Ahaggar Mountains. The highest peak in the Sahara is Emi Koussi, a shield volcano in the Tibesti range of northern Chad.

The perfect natural element for Zealandia Honey®'s Gold label Manuka honey from New Zealand, due to the vastness of the taste and hidden gems that are present in this honey.

Antelope Canyon & Rose Gold

Absolutely stunning is how we would describe Antelope Canyon in the American Southwest. That's why it's our favourite pick for our best seller, Zealandia Honey®'s Rose Gold label with a MGO rating of at least 400 mg/kg.

Located in Navajo, Arizona in the United States of America it includes two seperate scenic slot canyon sections referred to as the crack (upper Antelope canyon) and the corkscrew (lower Antelope canyon). Antelope Canyon was formed by the erosion of Sandstone due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes.

Rainwater, especially during monsoon season, runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways eroded away, deepening the corridors and smoothing hard edges to form characteristic "flowing" shapes.

The complex taste and unique taste of our Zealandia Honey® Rose Gold is a great fit for this natural element, and it's our most sought after product by consumers around the world.

Diamond Beach & Diamond

Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand belonging to the greater Breiðamerkursandur glacial plain, located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland. Breiðamerkursandur is a glacial outwash and the volcanic sandy beach stretches approximately 18 kilometres along Iceland’s South Coast.

Vatnajökull (literally "Glacier of Lakes"; sometimes translated as Vatna Glacier in English) is Iceland's largest ice cap the outwash plain was formed when three of Vatnajökull’s outlet glaciers, flowed forward due to volcanic activity. This ground the rocks of the underlying surface, creating and pushing forward the glacial sediments.

The volcanic black sand is being filled with glacial ice which creates a diamond like effect. This is unique in the world, just like our Zealandia Honey® Diamond, with a MGO concentration of 1200 mg/kg it is one of the world's hidden gems.
