Manuka & Royal Jelly with Saffron
This honey has been tested by an accredited ISO17025 laboratory and contains MGO of at least 550mg/kg and Royal jelly component, 10HDA of 550mg/kg.
Why Saffron?
Saffron has been one of the most sought after exotic spice throughout history. Cleopatra supposedly used to bath in milk and saffron to benefit from the natural dying properties as a fake tan. It is recognised as a natural spice with a distinctive aroma. Some describe it to be having honey like flavour, where as some describe it with earthy bittersweet flavour. Saffron contains antioxidant carotenoids, crocin and crocetin among other attributes. The Saffron used in our product is sourced from a 100% certified organic grower from Te Anau, Southland, New Zealand. Each fresh harvest is tested annually to prove its purity and potency.
What is Royal Jelly?
It is a milky white secretion made by worker bees to protect young brood in a hive and also the queen bee. It is rich in carbs, protein, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
